When adults volunteer, all students benefit! Hoffmann Elementary encourages all parents and guardians to become an active part of the campus.  There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved!  Your help is needed!  Complete the Volunteer Interest form and we will be in touch with you.

Hoffmann Volunteer Expectations

 

"Help and Serve"

  • Sign in at the front desk with your picture identification.  If you do not have a Fast Pass, you will receive a nametag to be worn the entire time on campus. 
  • Volunteers may have access to the school between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. unless prior permission has been granted from the principal.
  • Always remain in the volunteer area of the school that you are serving.
  • When volunteering, please remember to honor the instruction time by not stopping by your child's classroom, attempting to conference with the classroom teacher, or removing your child from the classroom to check out early.
  • Use school appropriate speech and behavior while on campus.
  • Abide by the parent/visitor dress code while on campus.
  • Refrain from conversations about individual students, school staff members, community members, or a particular school situation at all times.
  • Avoid involvement in student matters, allow an administrator to handle it.
  • For safety, young children must remain with parent volunteers at all times and should not be in the instructional areas or the hallways.
  • Turn cell phones on silent or off during the school day.
  • Use the staff restrooms located in the front office.
  • If you have any concerns, speak with a campus administrator.
  • Be a positive role model for your child and all students at Hoffmann. Thank you for volunteering your time to support our students and school!
